NCR is Hiring!
Northampton Community Rowing (NCR) is located on the Connecticut River in the Pioneer Valley. Our facility is located on the grounds of the new Connecticut River Greenway Riverfront Park in downtown Northampton, Massachusetts. NCR is a community-based and volunteer-driven organization, dedicated to enhancing the sport of rowing for youth and adults throughout the Pioneer Valley by creating an environment that challenges, inspires teamwork, sportsmanship, athleticism and camaraderie through competitive and recreational opportunities.
NCR boasts a year-round community program that serves a strong youth and adult rowing program. In addition to our sculling and sweep programs, we have partnered with All Out Adventures and Paradise City Dragon Boating to promote river access and programs that benefit the community.

Adult Head Coach
The Adult Head Coach is chiefly responsible for the direction and long term development of NCR’s adult rowing program which includes learn to row programs and non-competitive club programs that meet in the early mornings and the evenings, and a competitive team that meets in the early mornings. On Water Rowing Coaches
NCR seeks coaches for our on water programs. We are looking to staff our adult rowing programs. These programs meet in the early morning (5:30am-7:30am) and in the evening (6:00pm-7:30pm). Ability to drive a motorboat is needed along with rowing coaching experience. We have all levels of adult programs in need of coaches — learn to row, novice, club/recreational and competitive.
The Program Coordinator manages the administrative tasks necessary for club operations. This position works closely with our membership and is the central conduit of communication to our program participants regarding program registration details, regatta logistics and club events and news. The Program Coordinator is responsible for receiving and processing billing, donations and receipts, and for maintaining waivers, release forms and participant records.
